We have not been out of our park in over 10 days but we still find some things to amuse us and keep us occupied. Like for instance, when walking the other day our neighbors golf cart died and so a group of other neighbors tried to help them and tried to keep their distance as well but no luck on both. The golf cart stayed there a few days before it could be towed.
And then later that day we watched a big crane at one of the lots try to drop a huge tree in place. It was quite funny since they only tied the rope to one side of the container that was holding the tree and the tree kept falling over and the branches kept breaking.
And Aussie got to walk with her friend Karma, a sweet rescued pit bull. Karma is always nice to Aussie but for some reason Aussie is a little mean to Karma.
And every day we see Jilly and her parents driving around the park. Aussie really likes her. Maybe because she knows that they keep treats on the golf cart. Too bad Jilly and her parents are headed home to Manitoba next week. They are some of the very few Canadians left in the park.
Also, to pass the time, a few projects I have started to work on are
- A crocheted blanket.
- And some face masks made from Pickleball fabric. The fabric should arrive some time this week.
Its too bad our restaurant had to close but I still love to see the beautiful waterfall at the entrance when we walk in the afternoon.
As well as the beautiful view of the golf course near the canal on our walk every morning. Too bad no one is allowed on the golf course but here is a guy mowing the lawn at 7 in the morning. They keep the golf course looking beautiful but the golfers can only admire it from a distance.
