We just got back from a quick trip to San Francisco to visit with Jacob for his 5th birthday.
Saturday we spent the morning at the San Francisco Zoo. They are limiting the amount of people that can come in each day, a reservation must be made in advance and of course masks must be worn.
The San Francisco Zoo is a 100-acre zoo located in the southwestern corner of San Francisco, California, between Lake Merced and the Pacific Ocean along the Great Highway. As of 2016, the zoo housed more than one thousand individual animals, representing more than 250 species.

Then on Sunday we went over to Stern Grove Park for a walk.
Stern Grove, is a 33-acre recreational site in the Sunset District, San Francisco, California. It is administered by the city’s Recreation and Parks Department, and is the concert setting for the 80-year-old Stern Grove Festival. Every year since 1938, the organization presents Stern Grove Festival, a free concert series spanning 10 consecutive weeks, in Sigmund Stern Grove, a beautiful outdoor amphitheater located at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco.

We arrived to our home in Oregon on Monday to see our newly painted garage doors.
Even though this is a new house, with all the heat and dryness in this area the house desperately needed some new paint.
Now Gary is getting prepped for his knee surgery which will be next week. A lot of prep work beforehand including a drive up in your car covid test. This test is mandatory for all scheduled surgery.
It used to be drive in movies and drive in restaurants. Now it is drive in covid testing. Who could have ever dreamed this would happen?
