The casita at the Motorcoach Resort in Indio is now empty and the renovations are underway at the new resort down the street. It was a nice 6 years but it is time to move to the new place that has an actual bedroom and a garage. Not to mention pickleball.
Saying goodbye to the motorcycle group heading out for one of the last rides of the season at MCC.
We are changing almost everything in the new place. Who knew when we bought it that we would go this far?
All had been going well until 2 days ago when the pergola fell into the pool after a strong wind storm.
The builders were able to pull it out of the pool and it looks like no damage to the pool but the pergola may be ruined.
We are now on the way to San Francisco to see our sons and grandson. Our son from Finland flew in to the USA for a few weeks and we will stop and see them all as we head north to Oregon.
A nice goodbye evening with our friends at the new park using their new pizza oven.
Our friends just moved to this new park from MCC too and she is happy that now she has a great closet dedicated to all her 6 inch heels.
We are now in Bakersfield on the way north. A quick stop at the River Run RV Park.
And a very nice lunch at the Moo Creamery in Bakersfield. Yummy manchego arugula date salad with wine vinaigrette.
After San Francisco, we will spend a few days in Napa before heading home in time for Gary’s knee replacement scheduled for May.
Although it was 103 degrees and windy when we left Indio, I will miss this early morning view as seen a few weeks ago. Aussie however, will not miss the heat.
I have written my last blog for the MCC website. I will miss writing these articles.
Happy travels and have a wonderful visit with the family. I will be in touch💕

what a fitting grande finale of a note! Your new home will be amazing, I am sure. And you are both so very experienced at setting up new places! Love that morning sunrise. So beautiful. That will not change at least in your new motor home setting, I would think. Look forward to seeing your new cassita at some point in the not too distant future.
Happy Passover, from Montreal, where Spring seems to be finally here with a few colours of yellow & purple peeping through in garden beds – although terrific winds which are making the chandelier in our apartment sway quite distinctly! Hugs from us!
