A few people have asked why there have been no postings for a while and here is the answer.
Gary had knee replacement surgery recently and so we will be staying in one place for the next few months.
The Surgery Center at St Charles Hospital in Bend was great. Aussie and I hung out in the car for the 8 hours we had to wait for pre op, surgery and post op. Aussie was great company. And the plus side was by staying in the car we did not have to wear a mask. (Not that they would have let her in with or without a mask anyways 😆)
Unfortunately, that day they were doing noisy construction next to the area we were parked. I guess it gave us something to watch.
Now lots of PT for the next few months and the only pickleball for him will be on the TV or on his phone. Hopefully the new knee will help make him quicker on the courts.
For now, Aussie is around to cheer him up, that is when she is not getting her usual daily walks on the rec path next to the house.
There is not too much else to report except that the flowers in the area are starting to bloom now. Love these red ones by the front door.
Our next plan to travel will be in August when we plan to 1). Visit friends on the coast of Oregon, 2). Visit the kids in San Francisco and 3). check the renovations on our new home in the desert.
