We recently had a quick visit from Beaver who used to play a lot of pickleball at Sam Johnson Park in Redmond Oregon. He has since moved with his wife to Alaska.
We took a day trip to Vista, California and went to Brengle Terrace Park. We passed the Botanical Gardens and saw a group of guys playing disc golf nearby. It looked like a lot of fun.
We also met up with our acquaintance RayRay, who took it upon himself to be in charge of the paddles at the pickleball courts at Brengle Park. RayRay who is half Indian and half Mexican told me his family was part of the Chihuahua tribe. He recently gave up the game of racquetball and now he plays pickleball every single day. That might explain the heavy duty knee braces. Here he is handing Gary a paddle.
We had a very nice stroll at the Batiquitos Lagoon where several Bernedoodles seemed to meet up that day.
Also at the Lagoon there were many artists with easels and canvas. They like painting there because of the beautiful scenery.
A great trip to the town of Del Mar and the dog friendly beach. Which one will get the ball?
Instead of a Scotch on The Rocks… I will have a Murphy On The Rocks
A cute display of gnomes and ceramic dogs at the Del Mar Beach
We also had a very nice visit to the Museum Of Making Music in Carlsbad.
Here we are trying to put our own band together. Needleless to say, it did not work out and we gave up.
I don’t know what this plant is but it looks very Christmassy with red balls and it’s very fluffy to the touch. It is quite unique.
Our next door neighbors from Quebec decorated their front & back yard beautifully for the holidays.
On a final note, I looked up the price of that nice home in San Francisco from my last post that I thought might be between 3 and 4 million. It is listed as 4.2 mil.
