Today we took a long train ride over to Windsor Castle. The Royal Family was not there because they were at the Ascot horse races. Perhaps if we had given them more notice that we were coming they might have waited to see us?
The Royal Ascot is Britain’s most valuable race with some of the worlds finest racehorses. All the pubs had it televised on the big screen tv’s.
Since it took 3 hours by train to get there and a few hours back, that’s most of the excitement today.

Don’t know who this young fellow is but he decided to hang with us at our table. He was Scottish and we didn’t understand a word he said.
