The following is our travel timeline for the month of September.
The next stop in Florida was Coastline RV in Eastpoint, Florida in the Panhandle next to the Apalachicola Bay.
This is a nice RV park right across the street from the Bay, but has no beach access.
This is another park with a pickleball court that starts at the grass line so you have to stand on the grass to serve. Very strange.
The court is right next to the propane tank, so I guess you shouldn’t smoke while you play.🤣
Finally, the last stop in Florida as we head west. 30A Luxury Resort an RV park in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, is also in the Panhandle..
They call this a luxury resort because they have nice long paved lots and a pool but there is not much else. This small park is only 2 years old and the location is great. We had a nice catch and release pond right behind us.
The RV park is not far from the gorgeous sandy beaches and they have their own shuttle bus to take you there and pick you up daily.
We also observed so many gorgeous luxury rental homes along the beach.
Santa Rosa Beach is a really nice upscale place to visit with great shopping and restaurants. We would definitely come back to this area again.
We left Florida a few days ago and drove through Alabama and Mississippi to a park in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Details for this brand new RV park in Baton Rouge to follow.
Great Florida trip details! The Santa Rosa park looks very nice. The beach is beautiful! Did you play on the court where you had to serve in the grass.. that is kind of weird, but at least there’s a court! Have a great trip through the “Bible belt” 👌
