A really nice hike last month with some lovely ladies from Oregon. Some great weather and a really nice time together.
Trip To Camp Sherman
Even though we got lost driving out there and did not make it to our original destination at the Metolius River, 9 of us ladies a had fun hike at Camp Sherman. We will have to try again next year and hopefully we will arrive at the right place.
Trip To: San Francisco
Last weekend we drove to San Francisco to celebrate our grandsons birthday early. We spent the first day in Target allowing him to pick his own birthday present. A lot of items went into the cart and then back out again as he found something else. The final purchase was a lava lamp and large Lego set.
A Fun time below at the Presidio Tunnel Tops.
Situated on a sloping hillside, the $118 million Presidio Tunnel Tops park, which opened to the public on July 17, offers panoramic views of familiar landmarks β the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, Angel Island, the San Francisco Bay, the Marin Headlands, and even the city’s famous downtown skyline.

So many of these beautiful succulent gardens seen on our daily walks around San Francisco.
Now we are getting ready for a long 2 month road trip in the bus. Hopefully I will be able to post some fun things we see in many of the stops along the way.
Through the remainder of the month of August, our stops will be in: Idaho, Utah, Wyoming Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Pa and NY.

Loved seeing the photos!!
Have a wonderful time on you travels and look forward to hearing all about itππ
Wow, great posting with great pictures! Your grandson is so cute! You two look thin on the pictures. What a fun hike in the Metolius area. We always enjoyed that area … jim loved to fish and i liked to huke… and we rented a cabin for a week right on the river in Camp Sherman. It was a very relaxing trip.
I sure miss you and the other gals.
It looks like you’re going to be traveling all the way across the United States. You’ll be able to see so much! I hope you have time to post pics and text about all your travels. I wish we could do that some day, too.
Have a super safe and fun time. Will you be able to play pickleball along the way? We loved Brigham, Utah, and played on their “famous” courts.
Take care, my friend!
Looking forward to following you guys on your RV journey across the country.
