After walking Aussie in 18 degree weather this morning in Oregon we began our journey to California.
A lot of beautiful scenery along the way.
First we went past Upper Klamath Lake. Upper Klamath Lake is a large, shallow freshwater lake east of the Cascade Range in south-central Oregon in the United States. The largest body of fresh water by surface area in Oregon, it is approximately 25 miles long and 8 miles wide and extends northwest from the city of Klamath Falls.
Then once we got to California there were some great views of Mount Shasta. Mount Shasta is a potentially active volcano at the southern end of the Cascade Range in Siskiyou County, California. At an elevation of 14,179 feet , it is the second-highest peak in the Cascades and the fifth-highest in the state.
We stopped at a nice rest stop along the way and then finally made our stop for the night at a Casino in Corning California. We will see San Francisco tomorrow.
We went inside to check out the Casino but it was so smokey inside we quickly found our way out.
Can’t wait to see Jacob tomorrow!
