It was great to see friends Sara and Irwin last month visiting from Montreal and Stowe, Vermont. Thanks for taking the time to come and see us.
A nice evening at Lavenders Bistro for our 48th anniversary but the winds were up to 85 MPH and when we left the restaurant, the winds blew us right back in the door. Several trees were blown over like this one in our community and we lost power for a short time.

Another fun hike with some nice ladies at La Quinta Cove. Judy even stopped to pose along the way. It was a 7 mile hike with a lunch stop at the lake.
A wonderful first time visit to the desert from our kids. Jacob had a blast in the pool but Aussie wanted the balls really bad so poor Aussie was banished into the coach.
We had a nice visit to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert where Jacob got to feed the giraffes and have a staring contest with a cougar. Then it was onto Chef Tanya’s Kitchen a delicious vegan restaurant.
Jacob even helped prepare a birthday cake for me. We provided the whipped cream & berries. Yum!

Then Gary & I took a 3 day trip to Mesa, Arizona. We had a nice dinner at True Foods Kitchen in Phoenix with one of our favorite couples, Jim & Gen. Plus the next day we got to play some fun pickleball with them at the Monte Vista RV resort courts.
Jim & Gen thank you so much for coming our way from from El Mirage. You guys are the best!
St Patrick’s Day Bunco party last night. So much food and fun – 40 people showed up to play (10 tables of 4) . The great thing about Bunco is even the lowest score wins a prize. 😃

Finally, our resort had a round robin this morning with 28 players and Gary and his last partner Diane took home the grand prize with the highest scores. They each got jelly beans a $10 gift card to Trader Joes. Congrats!
