We took a 2 week road trip and of course we missed seeing this view from our Indio back patio while we were away.
Just days before our departure I had a nice hike to La Quinta Cove with Linda, Judy and Sandy
Gary, Aussie & I made it to San Francisco and Aussie made friends there with Buster at the Sunnyside Park. The 2 dogs looked like distant cousins. And meanwhile while Jacob was waiting at the park for his friends to arrive he goofed around in the toddler park.
Jacobs soccer team played against kids that were a head taller and a year older but his team surprised us by winning 9 to 5. This proves that size does not matter. Good going guys!
Its been years since we went to a movie theatre. The kids treated us to Puss N Boots a surprisingly very cute movie.
After the movie we went for coffee and watched the robot prepare it.
Next was a trip home to Redmond Oregon for a few weeks and we arrived to roads of ice and snow.
On one of the walks with Aussie we were stared at just off of the walking trail and of course we stared back.
A most enjoyable 4 mile walk on the Canyon in Redmond with Claire, Becky, Mary Lou and Janet. Some very nice ladies indeed and a lot of fun to spend time with.
It was a great trip and we were finally back to Indio just in time for the Valentine dinner dance. A lot of fun with a great band, good food and an entertaining magician. Our friend John who was picked out of the audience was such a good sport and there were a lot of laughs.
By the way, John will be Gary’s partner in a pickleball tournament this Sunday at PGA West. Good luck to the guys. They will be playing in the 4.0 group. 😲
