A very scary winding narrow road for miles to get to our next location but well worth it! Mountain Falls Luxury Resort in NC is one of the nicest RV resorts we have ever been to.
Mountain Falls Resort is tucked away in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina at an elevation of about 3,200 feet and right in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This resort has a private clubhouse for special events, 8 perfect pickleball courts, a 9 hole golf course, 2 pools and bath houses, a large dog park, a fitness center plus the most amazing mountain views.
When we were there the Liberty golf cart which drives around every Thursday from 4 – 6pm was pouring cocktails for anyone who was interested.
Cocktails anyone? It’s 5 o’clock somewhere.
Every morning there is open play pickleball and a lot of nice people show up to play. There are 8 gorgeous courts and one side is for challenge play and the other side is social. We were able to join in and play a couple of the days we were there. With all the guys there on the challenge courts Gary’s best competition was with these 3 ladies seen here. Girls rule!
A nice seating area with shade at the courts to watch the play.
Aussie really loved the spacious dog park.
This resort includes a total of 230 motorhome sites of which 144 are in the phase one valley section. 86 sites cliff side lots are located in its phase two in the mountain top ridge section where we parked.
Many of the RV sites here have beautiful large homes with second stories that overlook the gorgeous mountains.
Mountain view from the back of our lot.
A very short walk to the clubhouse
It was a great stay in NC and we hope to return there someday.
Our next stop will be Ellijay, Georgia where we will see family and then on to Lakeland, Florida to see more family.
Love hearing all your many adventures! What a great trip you, Gary and Aussie are having
We had our end of year (even though it’s not!) pickleball potluck. Lots of food and fun games. You are missed. Lots of new faces almost everyday. Keely is playing again, Gloria’s hand has healed, Janet still has a walking cast on and Ruth is recovering from her shoulder surgery. I think that is everyone on the injured list. It will be interesting this winter to see if a lot of players switch to Premier PickleBall. I am just planning on getting a punch card because I am skiing so much.
It snowed a few times last week in the mountains, so it’s starting!
Hope all your weather is free and clear as you adventure on.
Hi Alexis… it’s Gen… It’s good to see that everyone is healing! Suzan said there were a lot of injuries. I miss you! Suzan’s adventures are so cool!!
What a gorgeous resort in North Carolina!! They pickleball courts are beautiful, too. Good for Gary to play with the three gals! Woman power! 🙂
Have a good trip to your next location.
