Oregon Coast – Day 1

It took 2 days to close up the Oregon house for the winter and get ready for our trip towards California as we make some stops along the Oregon coast.

After driving through narrow winding roads for several hours we made it to the coast in Newport Oregon.

Pacific Shores has a nice hiking trail and part of the trail goes down to the beach and a part of the trail goes deep down into the woods to a pickleball court. Probably to keep the residents from hearing the noise.

We thought that since we would be on the coast we would have cooler temperatures but the temperature today was a high of 86 and dry. Quite a nice surprise.
