Well, after owning an RV lot at our resort in Indio for 6 years we have finally taken the plunge and just bought a lot elsewhere at a resort down the street from us. What we did not have before will be a fully enclosed bedroom, a garage and our own pool. The only problem is that it will require quite a bit of work to bring it up to our standards but we are looking forward this new adventure.
By coincidence, our friends Mike and Val at our current resort are also moving and will be our next door neighbors at the new resort.
After the quick purchase of the new home we left the next day for a trip to Oregon with a stop in San Francisco on the way. It was so much fun to watch Jacob play an indoor soccer game while we were there and he scored the only goal for his team!
Aussie enjoyed hanging out with Jacob under the lunch table.
From there we made it to our home in Oregon for the week and with the cold weather and mist it was hard to walk Aussie this morning since all the roads and walkways were icy and so slippery.
However, yesterdays view was quite unique on the early morning walk. Not only did the Oregon sky look like it was on fire, the clouds were below the mountains at Smith Rock.
Some people think its nuts to go walking at the break of light in the morning but here is one of the reasons I am out with Aussie at 6:15am at our park in Indio. I look forward to more of this view when we return back next week.
Some of you asked how to get my current blogs written for our resorts website. Here is a link to 2 of them. When we make our move to the new resort, I will miss writing these.
