Gary’s knee surgery was a success and it won’t be long before he is back to playing pickleball and riding his bike.
In the meantime, we went over to Sam Johnson Park to watch a demonstration with a 5.0 Champion Pro named Wes.
This week my computer died so I am struggling to learn how to post with a tablet so bear with me as things in the blog may look a little different.
A few pictures from this weeks activities.
The above is a picture of my neighbors lovely yard where Aussie continues to find a rabbit hiding in the flowers. Also a view of Smith Rock from our street where you can see the smoke that we are experiencing in the area.
Wildfires across the state are creating hazardous and smoky conditions. Smoke from several fires started by lightning strikes over the weekend and larger fires already burning in the region may continue to drift into Oregon communities and rapidly degrade air quality.
Our regular morning visitors.
And finally a visit to the glass recycling bin. Looks like we missed a good party.
As you can see, not too much excitement for this week. Maybe the highlight was that I finally finished making my blanket. Time for another project.
Wow! Gary looks good lying on the couch – you don’t usually see him staying in one place very long!
It looks beautiful up there. And the deer!! Too cool.
Hope Aussie doesn’t rough up that rabbit too badly. Be sure to tell her that the hunt is more fun than the kill.
Missing you guys.
Hi Susan!
Nice to see your adventures again.
I heard from Gary he had surgery, not good for either of you!
Wish him a speedy recovery and hopeful the smoke will clear soon.
Lovely views, I enjoy your photos!
Nice to see photos and read about your activities. Glad Gary’s surgery went well.
Nice blanket, thanx for all the support this week as I was convalescing.
Glad Gary’s doing well. Beautiful neighbor’s garden. Sorry about smoke from fires!
Marilyn
