We left Portal RV resort in Moab Utah and headed to spend the night in Battle Mountain Nevada at Clark Park, a decent self serve RV park where they had a huge gated empty parking lot as a dog run.🐶
On the way we passed through Salt Lake City and saw a beautiful view of the Salt Lake, all white on the top of the water from the salt.
Before reaching Battle Mountain Nevada we went through an old cute town, Winnemucca near old Route 66 in Nevada.
After leaving Nevada to head to Oregon, the most exciting part of our long day on the coach was when we had to stop on a Highway in Oregon. It was probably in the 30’s and the winds were blowing and this poor kid had to stand outside in the middle of nowhere holding a Stop sign. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a pilot car to arrive to lead us a few miles down the road because there was a work crew on the road filling in the cracks on the highway.
We made it to the Deschutes Expo Center and RV Park in Redmond near Bend Oregon and I will post more pictures in the next few days as I am struggling because the internet here is pretty bad.
