Whos Zooming Who?

A nice 7.25 mile hike on Thursday in La Quinta, California. Eight of us walked the La Quinta Cove to Lake Cahuilla trail. A pleasurable hike as we kept a safe distance from each other in beautiful sunny 70 degree weather.

With the lack of physical contact now, more than ever most of us are using Zoom to connect with our friends and family.

Here are jut a few pleasant contact meetings from the past week.

It was so nice to catch up with some of the members of the Stowe Velo biking group. Many who reside in Quebec and several whom have recently sold their vacation homes in Vermont. Its always pleasant to catch up even if some of us no longer ride our bikes. Amazing too that a couple of people are in their 90’s!
Oh no, Gary is running for the board at our resort in Indio! Here is a meet and greet the candidates for a question and answer meeting. All good candidates with good answers.
Our dear friends from Montreal and Vermont. Last year at this time we saw them in Big Sky Montana and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. No long distant traveling this year.
Our family in Finland. They are 10 hours ahead of us so a Zoom call must be planned way ahead of time.

  2. What beautiful photos from your hike. Spectacular countryside. And love all the Zooming! A great way to connect with so many (us included! Thank you!). We are about due for another Z end of January? (which is not so far away) or early February. Heading back to Mtl likely about Feb. 15th or so. Big snowstorm here over weekend – about 10 inches minimum I would think. You will not be missing the snow!
    Keep on enjoying. How is the pizza?
